Bielka Tortorelli is a graduate from the Dickinson School of Law of Pennsylvania State University. She obtained her licence in New York in 2003. She began her career in banking law until she decided to change in order to help her people. A daughter of inmigrants from Ecuador, she deeply understands the situation of many inmigrants, which is also why she decided to open the Law Center, which serves the needs of those who need it the most, as inmigration problems can often have a devastating and enduring effect on most people’s lives. US Citizenship requests
Citizenship is a legal status granted to a legal member of a country. Citizenship involves rights, obligations, and privileges. US Citizenship can be obtained by birth or by naturalization.
Special Inmigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS)
SIJS helps certain undocumented children on the path towards becoming a Permanent Resident. Children in the process of being adopted, or that have suffered abuse, abandonment, or neglect, may obtain Special Inmigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and based on that, apply for Permanent Resident.
Asylum
Any person may apply for US Asylum if they fear returning to their country of origin due to being persecuted for their race, nationality, religion, political opinion, or for belonging to a social group. It is the perview of the USCIS or a judge, to grant or deny the request.
